I have a bachelor degree in English. I am interested in getting certified to teach English as a second language. I don’t seem to be able to find any info on this. I keep finding info for people who want to learn English not teach it. An online program would be ideal or somewhere in Michigan.

Greetings! What are the advantage and disadvantages of English as a primary language of instruction at schools located in countries whose people are not native English speakers? How will this keep their cultural identity intact? Thank you very much!

I’m writing a piece for my portfolio on the benefits of taking a foreign language in high school and i need to know about high schools requiring.
And if possible could you give me your source?
I need as much information as possible.
Thanks SO much!

I have an alternative certification and don’t know much about how to teach another language. Do you know any universities that have a good program that teaches HOW to teach a foreign language? Specifically Spanish. Something in Texas is best.

Just out of curiosity, how much do high school foreign language teachers get paid? I hear that they are in way more demand than English teachers. If need be, I can teach French.
(salary preferably in California, but I’ll take any answer you can give me)

do you think the study of a foreign language for high school students is a waste of time?
if yes why? if no why?
