I want to have a career that has something to do with foreign languages, even though I am only in French 1. I don’t know if I want to be a translator because of the low salary, but what other careers are out there that utilize languages? Thank you in advance!

You can teach English as a second language. The money isn’t great, but you can really see the world that way. Which is much better than a 30-year loan on a house trapped in concrete jungle America.
A great paying job is in banks and brokerage houses doing overseas money transfers.
Off the top of my head…other than translation:
Educator ($30K-$90K)
International Business (varies $50K-$150K)
Government/professional ($40K-$200K) - *this depends on the language(s) you know. It is getting to be more important for individuals to be bilingual, so be aware that you might need to have more than one additional language depending on the field and service provided.
go to other countries learn their languages and come back to your country and teach people their language
